P-Stick at Torino World Design Capital

The Murazzi quays that flanks the river Po is filling up with people during summer evenings, in this area full of bar and other clubs. Of course such place tends to get used as an open – sky bath.
Turin Geodesign thought it was necessary to ask the design of a new kind of public toilette, in particular an easy-accessible urinal, capable of attracting the largest possible number of “transgressors”, but without infringing the obligations imposed by the order protecting the 19th-century quays as historic monuments. A friendly user urinal!
P-Stick, answered with enthusiasm to the appeal, decided to let a young designer plan a urinal perfectly adapted to its display, the P-STICK and with a line thought for being produced in rotation-moulded plastic in the shape of a truncated cylinder.
